Federal Grants Will Fund Infrastructure Improvements At Shasta Dam, Coleman Fish Hatchery

A lot of much needed water infrastructure work is about to get under way in Northern California. The money is part of 849 Million Federal Dollars that will be used to modernize infrastructure and strengthen drought resilience. In addition to extensive work at Shasta Dam, work will also be done at Keswick and Whiskeytown, and $20 Million will be spent to modernize the Coleman National Fish Hatchery on Battle Creek. Work will also be done to upgrade the water supply for the City of Shasta Lake.
