Final November Election Results Released For Shasta County

The final numbers have been released just in time by the Shasta County Elections Department.

Corkey Harmon has defeated incumbent Mary Rickert as District Three County Supervisor.

New Redding City Council Members Erin Resner, Paul Dhanuka and Mike Littau were sworn in Tuesday night.
The three Anderson City Council Seats were won by Darin Hale, Susie Baugh and Bonnie Simmons.
The new Shasta Lake City Council Members are Daniel Ringwelski, Greg Watkins and Toni Coats.

Michael Orlicky won the Board of Education Area One seat.
For Area Two short term it was Teresa Roberts.
The two full term Areas 2 seats went to Jackie LaBarbera and Jessica French.
The closest race in the county was the Happy Valley School Board. Erin Ciapponi won a seat, and the second seat went to Jacque Brousseau by just two votes.

Measure P, which would have restricted the use of Eminent Domain, lost by a narrow margin.
Measure Q failed. It would have allowed the Board of Supervisors to choose how to fill vacancies in some elected offices.
Measure M, the Shasta High School Bond Measure, passed easily.
