Around 5 acres of grassland burned west of Cottonwood Sunday. The fire was off Gas Point Road near Two Feathers Road. A fire east of Platina was contained Sunday. The Bell Fire was held to one and a half acres. A fire off Merrill Road south of Corning burned about an acre of grass on Sunday. A fire damaged a house in Red Bluff on Saturday. Cal-Fire assisted Red Bluff Fire on the fully involved structure fire on Countryside Drive.
