Fire Crews Respond To Several Small Fire On Monday

There was a fire in a backyard on Lago Vista Drive in North Redding a little after 11AM Monday. It was apparently an escaped burn pile, and it was held to about a half acre.

A fire that started shortly after 1 O’clock Monday afternoon was held to about three-quarters of an acre Oak Meadow Road in Palo Cedro.

Also in Palo Cedro, about a quarter acre burned off Hillview Drive.

A fire that broke out around 3 O’clock off Cloverdale Road was stopped at about an acre and a half.

A prescribed burn may continue Tuesday on the McConnell Foundations Gore Ranch Property near Clear Creek Road and Highway 273 in South Redding.

A two story house in Burney was damaged by fire late Sunday night. There were reports of smoke and flames a little after 11PM at the house at the corner of Tamarack and Oak Street. It took about 45 minutes for crews to get the fire under control, with extensive damage to both the first and second floors.
