Focus Will Likely Be On Three Election Related Items At Thursday’s Supervisors Meeting

It may be another late night for the Shasta County Board of Supervisors. They have an evening meeting set to begin at 5:30PM Thursday afternoon. Items on the agenda include three elections-related issues that were placed there by Patrick Jones. He’ll be ousted from his seat at the end of the year to make way for Matt Plummer, who beat Jones in the Spring. One of Thursday nights issues concerns time stamps on the audit log from the March election in which Jones was defeated. Another item calls out Runbeck and Hart Intercivic for the faulty ballot issue that has complicated the counting of last week’s ballots.
