Forward Progress Stopped On 690 Acre Apache Fire Near Oroville

Evacuation orders have been lifted from a fire in South Oroville. The Apache Fire burned 691 acres and destroyed two structures. Forward progress is stopped but area residents are still being told to be on alert. It started Monday evening in the area of Apache Hill Road and Crestmont Drive. The cause is under investigation.

A grass fire burned around 3 acres in the Montague area of Siskiyou County.

A fire reported around 10:45AM Tuesday morning in the Montgomery Ranch Road area off Placer west of Redding was held to about a half acre of grass and Oak woodland.

At around 8 O’clock Tuesday night Redding Fire extinguished a small spot fire south of the Cypress Bridge in the Nur-Pon Open Space.
