Forward Progress Stopped On 90 Acre Quincy Fire In Butte County

Another fire broke out Thursday afternoon in Butte County. Located off Forbestown Road near the Community of Robinson Mill, the “Quincy Fire” started in the footprint of the Wall Fire, quickly burning to the top of a ridge. Forward progress was stopped within few hours and evacuations have been lifted. The fire is 90 acres with 10% containment.

Evacuation orders have been lifted from the Boise Fire near Orleans in Humboldt County. It burned 12,967 acres and it’s 91% contained.

Two small fires started a little after Noon Thursday in the median of Highway 273 near Happy Valley Road. Civilians with shovels had the fires mostly under control when firefighters arrived on scene
