A fugitive wanted for a murder more than three decades ago has been returned to Northern California to face trial. 32-year-old Anita Carmen Crisosto was shot to death outside a laundromat in Orland in 1989. The suspect, Antonio Lopes-Moreno, is now 67-years-old and was living in Mexico. He was captured recently in Mexico City by Mexican authorities, INTERPOL, and the FBI. He was arraigned in a Glenn County courtroom August 15th and is being held without bail. He’ll return to court September 1st.
