Ground Officially Broke For $70 Million Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center

Ground has officially been broken on a cancer treatment center next to the Sacramento River just south of the Cypress Avenue Bridge. It will incorporate chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, support groups and more under one roof. The cost will be at least $70 Million to build the facility, $10.6 Million of which has been raised by Mercy Foundation North. The first $3 Million was donated by Sierra Pacific Industries, prompting the naming of the facility as the “Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center”. Completion is expected in Spring of 2026.
