Group Gathers Outside Courthouse To Rally Support For Missing Woman

A group gathered in front of the Shasta County Courthouse Monday with a message of “Bring Nikki Home”. A preliminary hearing was underway for Tyler Scott McCain, the husband of a missing woman who he’s accused of abusing. The last known sighting of 39-year-old Nikki Cheng Saelee-McCain was May 17th when she may have gotten a ride from a home near Win River Casino and may have been dropped off at her home on Olinda Road. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office says Nikki’s Chevy Avalanche was found May 25th in Western Tehama County. Nikki is 4-foot-11 and 110 pounds with brownish-red hair and brown eyes and a floral design tattoo on her left forearm. Her photo is on the KQMS Facebook Page. Anyone who’s seen her or her truck since May 17th is urged to call 245-6135 or e-mail mcu@shastacounty.gov. A $10,000 reward is available through the Nor-Cal Alliance for the Missing at 638-3855. Tyler McCain is facing four domestic violence related charges. The Sheriff’s Office has not said if he’s suspected of being responsible for her disappearance.
