Adoption costs at Haven Humane Society are covered by the Bissell Pet Foundation for the next couple of weeks, starting Saturday. The “Empty the Shelters” adoption event takes place at more than 300 shelters in 40 states. The program funded by the manufacturer of Bissell carpet cleaners has helped more than 300,000 pets find loving homes. At Haven Humane Society costs are being completely covered by Bissell for any pet adopted between July 5th and July 19th. The only thing that adopters need to pay for is the license fee. Many of the animals available at haven can be previewed at havenhumane.org or on their Facebook Page. Appointments to go find a new best friend can be made by calling 241-1653.
