Heavy Inversion Helps Crews Fighting The Boise Fire

The Boise Fire in Humboldt County and part of Trinity County near the Community of Orleans is 13% contained after burning more than 12,100 acres. A heavy inversion has kept the fire mostly within its footprint. The Six Rivers National Forest and part of the Klamath are closed to the public. A number of evacuation orders and warnings remain in effect. There are about 1,200 personnel on scene. The cause of the Boise Fire is still under investigation.
