After 45 years, the Jolly Giant flea market is closing permanently, bring an end to a potpourri of furniture, rugs, crafts, auto parts, knick knacks, books and a little bit of just about everything else. The bargain hunters’ destination located off Highway 273 between Redding and Anderson has been purchased by Hambro Recycling, who plans to turn it into a processing facility that will include a drive through CRV buyback center. The flea market will continue to operate until the end of the year.
