K9 Helps Officers Arrest Wanted Man In Anderson

A man wanted in Siskiyou County on domestic violence charges was arrested in Anderson on Saturday night. Just after 5:20PM officers were called to the 3600 block of Claude Lane for a domestic disturbance. While en-route they learned that 61-year-old Robert Lynn Roe was possibly armed with a gun, and was wanted in Siskiyou County. When officers arrived Roe was reportedly hiding between an empty home and a fence. He initially refused to surrender, but gave himself up when officers threatened to deploy K9 Riggs. He then gave up, and was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Shasta County Jail and booked on domestic violence charges.
