It’s pizza for dinner Wednesday night for a good cause. Charlew’s Taphouse in Downtown Redding is hosting a “Celebrity Pizza Contest”, a fundraiser for the teen centers in Redding and Anderson operated by Pathways to Hope for Children. The pizza makers will be representatives of local law enforcement, government and media, including Steve Gibson from KQMS. The action gets underway at 5 O’clock at Charlew’s Taphouse at the corner of Shasta and East Streets. KQMS listeners are urged to show up and eat dinner with some of the proceeds going to the cause. Donations will be accepted at the restaurant. Online donations can be made at 100hopegivers.org.
