Considered one of the most secure Republican Congressional seats in the country, the District One seat occupied by Doug LaMalfa is going in his favor 64% to 37% over Democrat Rose Penelope Yee.
In the race for the District One State Assembly seat, Modoc County farmer and former teacher Heather Hadwick has a sizeable lead over Redding Mayor Tenessa Audette of 62% to 38%.
Megan Dahle, a Beiber resident and wife of the termed out current State Senator Brian Dahle, is enjoying a landslide victory for that position of 75% to 25% over her opponent David Fennell.
