Communication problems are dogging Trinity County. On Friday 9-1-1 service went out along with landline phone and Internet lines maintained by TDS Telecom for areas along Highway 3 from Scott Mountain south to Ridgeville and Minersvile. The Sheriff’s Office said Verizon cell service was still running, but Saturday Verizon apparently failed for all of Trinity County. At this time, it’s not known how much of the county remains out of contact.
