A man who’s been missing from Lassen County for 25 years has apparently been found in Los Angeles. The man was reported missing from the Community of Doyle in 1999. Last week a USA Today article published in April was sent to the man’s sister. It was about an appeal by the Los Angeles Police Department for help in identifying a man who was hospitalized and non-verbal, apparently unable to identify himself. The sister showed the article to a Lassen County Sheriff’s Deputy, who then contacted the LAPD. The man was fingerprinted and it was a match with the missing Dorris man. The family plans to reunite with their long lost relative. Their names are being kept private.
