A series of local candidate and ballot initiative forums will be held by the League of Women Voters of the Redding Area, who will moderate the events according to guidelines the candidates have all agreed upon. The LWV is a non-partisan organization that works to protect voting rights and ensure that everyone is represented.
— State Assembly and Redding City Council candidates will meet at the Cascade Theater on September 10th at 6pm.
— Candidates for District 3 Shasta County Supervisor and Shasta Lake City Council will meet at the Larry J Farr Community Center in Shasta Lake City September 12th at 6pm.
— Anderson City Council candidates will meet at Anderson City Hall September 19th at 6pm.
— Ballot proposition pros and cons will be discussed during “Pies and Propositions” on October 7th from 6 to 8 at the First United Methodist Church at East and South Streets in Redding.
