“Little Cow Chip Project” On Highway 299 Begins On Monday

Work starts Monday on a job involving chip sealing Highway 299 east of Redding. Drivers are cautioned about loose gravel from the job, which will cause delays of up to 15 minutes through the end of August. It’ll be from a mile west of Seaman Gulch to a couple miles east of Limestone Quarry. Because it runs partly along Little Cow Creek, Caltrans is calling it the Little Cow Chip Project.
