A Redding man has been jailed on charges of sexually abusing a child. In October the Sheriff’s Office learned of the allegations against 22-year-old William Brown, and the Major Crimes Unit opened an investigation. Last Thursday a felony arrest warrant was issued and Brown was arrested Thursday. He was booked into jail on two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor and one count of lewd and lascivious acts by use of force. His bail is set at $100,000.
