Man Arrested For Murder After Victim Is Impaled By An Arrow

Redding Police are investigating a bow-and-arrow murder, and a suspect is in custody. At 5:30PM Monday afternoon officers were called to Radio Lane in South Redding on reports that an argument had ended with a 46-year-old man being impaled with an arrow. He was transported to Mercy Hospital with a severe chest wound and he later died. RPD Detectives took 63-year-old Glen Stevenson in for questioning. He has a long record and was already on felony probation for being a felon in possession of a gun. After being interviewed, Stevenson was booked into jail for murder.
