An investigation into child sexual abuse material led to an arrest on gun charges. Tuesday morning the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office assisted Homeland Security with a search warrant at the Sudan Lane home of 52-year-old Timothy Carl Guinn. During the search, agents and detectives reported finding 12 guns along with high capacity magazines and ammunition. One of them was an AR-15 with features that define it as an assault weapon in California. Another warrant was obtained for the firearms and Guinn was arrested on the weapons charges. It’s not known what became of the Homeland Security child sex crimes investigation.
