Man Arrested With Cocaine, Meth, & Cash After Traffic Stop

A Cottonwood man was reportedly busted with a lot of drugs Friday night. At around 10:30PM, Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped 46-year-old Joshus Allen Fitch for a traffic violation on Happy Valley Road. They say he seemed to be on drugs. While the DUI investigation was underway, Jed the K9 made a sniff around the car and alerted to drugs. Deputies say they found more than 2.5 Pounds of Methamphetamine, 5 Ounces of Cocaine, 75 Oxycodone pills, two loaded handguns, and $6,600 cash. Some of the drugs were apparently hidden in a cat litter tub and a revolver was hidden in a cut-out book. The serial numbers had been removed from the other gun and it had a magazine modified to hold more than 10 rounds. SINTF Agents were called to take over and they booked Fitch into jail on a long list of charges with bail set at $100,000.
