A Los Molinos man has been given a break in his sentencing for being busted with an interesting collection of contraband. 47-year-old Lance Wayne Son was arrested during a traffic stop. While talking with him, an officer could see a bag of Methamphetamine in plain sight, so he searched the car and found more Meth, as well as 26 Pounds of Marijuana and a propane powered potato launcher. The potato launcher qualified as a firearm, which son was prohibited from possessing due to a prior conviction. He’s been given a 6 month jail sentence and a two year prison sentence suspended on condition of 2 years probation.
