A Shasta Lake man who had a disturbing secret room filled with child pornography has been given a long sentence. 51-year-old Jeremy Saber pled guilty in November to 14 counts of lewd and lascivious acts against a child under the age of 14. Last Wednesday Saber was sentenced to 35-years-to-life in state prison. He has been in jail on more than a Million Dollars bail since 2019 when Shasta County Sheriff’s Detectives were tipped off and served a search warrant at Saber’s Deer Creek Avenue home. Inside a large outbuilding on the property, there was a small locked room containing hundreds of images of young girls with ages estimated between 9 and 15 in sexually explicit situations. Also in the room were numerous adult and child sized mannequins dressed in wigs and makeup, and posed in various sexual acts. A search warrant was also served at Saber’s storage unit, where hundreds more sexually explicit images of young girls were found. When he was questioned, Saber admitted to possessing the child porn, as well as photographing some of the victims himself. Several of the victims were identified as local children.
