An Orland man was killed in a broadside collision last week, according to the Corning Observer. Last Wednesday evening 28-year-old Caleb Tatum was driving a 1999 Ford pickup westbound on County Road 24 when he drove through the stopsign at County Road P. His pickup was T-boned by a 2022 Ford pickup driven by 30-year-old Jacob Shriver, also of Orland. Tatum’s truck overturned and he was partially ejected before the truck came to rest on its roof. Tatum, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. Shriver had only minor injuries.
