Man Remains Jailed On Attempted Murder Charges After Stabbing In North Redding

A man has been arraigned for allegedly stabbing another man off Lake Boulevard last week. On May 13th, sheriff’s deputies and medical personnel were called to a home on Paradise Lane between Redding and Shasta Lake City by a woman who said her 58-year-old brother had been stabbed by 34-year-old Flynn Zachary Jones. The victim had several non-life-threatening stab wounds to his upper body and abdomen and he was transported to a hospital. Witnesses said Jones had left on foot. He was found along Lake Boulevard north of the crime scene, and he apparently had blood on his clothing. Deputies say he claimed the blood was his own but he didn’t have any injuries. Jones was arraigned last Wednesday for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. His bail is $500,000.
