Man Sentenced To 16 Months In Prison For Drunken Incident That Injured His Wife

A Red Bluff man has been sentenced for a violent drunken incident in July. 20-year-old Gauge Malohn was on probation for domestic violence and was restrained by court order from contacting his wife. While intoxicated, he went into his wife’s apartment and started breaking things. After arguing with his wife, he got into his pickup truck and drove around the parking lot a couple of times before intentionally crashing into his wife’s car, pushing it into another car. He then drove around the lot again and ran into his wife and a bystander. She fortunately suffered only a bruise to her arm. Malohn has been sentenced to 16 months in state prison.
