A Red Bluff man has been sentenced to prison for shooting a man. Last December 9th Red Bluff Police responded to a report of shots fired and found 60-year-old Thomas Porterfield holding a handgun and a victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and arm. He said he had been jumped by Porterfield and two others and was shot during the struggle. Porterfield has been sentenced to 7 years in state prison.
