Man Sentenced To 8 Years In Prison For Sparking Arson Fire At Red Bluff Veterinary Clinic

A homeless Red Bluff man who has served time in prison for arson is going back for starting another arson fire. 36-year-old Anthony Torres was sentenced to 3 years in prison in 2021 for starting a pile of garbage on fire in the doorway of a Red Bluff business. In October Red Bluff Police were called to the Antelope Veterinary Hospital on Belle Mill Road on reports of a suspicious person prowling around. Officers arrived to find Torres lighting a piece of cloth on fire and placing it in the business drop box. Torres has been sentenced to another 8 years in state prison.
