Man Sentenced To Over 2 Years In Prison After March Arrest

A Cottonwood man is going to prison for domestic violence and for threatening a deputy. 31-year-old Matthew Antonio Biddlecome was arrested in March on Del Norte Drive in Cottonwood. Tehama County Deputies had responded to a domestic violence report and found Biddlecome acting extremely hostile as he threatened to kill a deputy. He was arrested after a standoff. His wife said Biddlecome had punched her in the face and she had a visible injury to show for it. Biddlecome has been sentenced to 2 years 8 months in state prison.
