A Red Bluff man who called police to say he was being battered had the tables turned on him. When Tehama County Deputies arrived and investigated the matter, they determined 44-year-old Gable Arthur Preston Smith had supplied a young girl with drugs. He was charged with soliciting a minor with a narcotic controlled substance, child cruelty, lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, sexual battery and several other felonies. He made a plea deal and admitted to furnishing Marijuana to a minor. He was sentenced to 7 years in state prison.
