A man has been given a break in sentencing for leading the CHP on a high speed chase through Tehama County while drunk. Rory William Flynn was seen driving 115 miles and hour on Interstate 5. He was pulled over, but then abruptly pulled back onto the freeway and fled. After more than 5 miles he was stopped with a spike strip and found to have a blood alcohol level of .15%. Flynn has been sentenced to 4 months in jail and a 3 year prison sentence is suspended on condition of 2 years probation.
