A Paradise man has been sentenced for stealing a PG&E truck while on drugs. 42-year-old Anthony Robert McLane was arrested in June of 2023. He had stolen the PG&E service truck from Butte County and drove it to Los Molinos, where he was found and arrested by the CHP. When officers spoke to McLane they discovered he was under the influence of Methamphetamine. For felony vehicle theft and misdemeanor driving on drugs, McLane has been given an 8 month state prison sentence.
