Man Who Stomped Victims Head About 30 Times At Red Bluff Homeless Shelter Sentenced

A Red Bluff man has been sentenced for attacking a man at a homeless center. 21-year-old Raul Mendoza-Rabago was arrested in December. The Tehama County District Attorney’s Office says he and two of his friends attacked the victim in the bathroom at the Red Bluff PATH Shelter. They punched him repeatedly, and Mendoza-Rabago stomped on his head and body about 30 times, inflicting injuries that required many staples to close. Mendoza-Rabago was originally sentenced to 150 days in jail and 2 years probation, but he violated his probation and has been sentenced to 3 years in state prison.
