A Redding man has been sentenced for tricking children into sending him nude pictures and videos of themselves. 42-year-old Anthony Battle was arrested last September after Anderson Police served a search warrant at his home on White River Drive in Redding and found child sexual abuse material that included 13,256 photos and 164 videos. The APD had been tipped off by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. Battle had posed as a 13-year-old boy on Snapchat and convinced girls as young as 9-years-old to send sexually explicit images, which he then traded with other distributors of child pornography. In February Battle pled guilty to more than 13 different felony counts. Last week he was sentenced to over 9 years in state prison.
