Man Will Stand Trail For 2019 Murder In Oak Run

A jury trial date has been set for the accused killer of an Oak Run man. 44-year-old Gregory Donald Galusha was shot to death in February of 2019. He was found lying face down near his home on Stagecoach Road in Oak Run. He had a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Roza was arrested by Shasta County Sheriff’s Detectives three days later. They say the two were in an altercation, during which Roza fired a semi-auto handgun at Galusha, killing him. The case against Roza had been previously dismissed by the court because no courtroom was available for trial, so the DA’s Office had to re-file the charges. A trial is now set to begin on September 26th.
