A man with a bow and arrows caused a stir in East Redding Friday. At 20 minutes after Noon witnesses said a man was shooting arrows at people from the parking lot of a large church campus on Loma Vista Drive. Nearby Lassen View Elementary was placed on lockdown and a CHP helicopter helped locate 44-year-old Eric Barragan. When multiple officers converged, Barragan reportedly tried to run away but surrendered when Lido the K9 was unleashed. He was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrests, but officers investigated and found that Barragan had not pointed arrows at anyone and was not shooting negligently.
