Tehama County Deputies say a man died while fleeing their officers on a stolen motorcycle in Red Bluff over the weekend. At 35 minutes after Midnight Friday night deputies saw a motorcycle with no lights speeding down Willow Street near south Jackson. In a lengthy pursuit the rider reportedly rode recklessly, varying speed and riding on the wrong side of the road and into the front yards of homes. He fled onto Lay Avenue toward the “PATH” Center and tried to ride into a grassy field but he hit a ditch and was ejected from the bike. Identified as 35-year-old Andrew Wesley Krause, the rider died after arriving at the hospital.
