Motorcyclist Sentenced For 140MPH Chase In November

A motorcyclist who led police on an extremely high speed chase has been sentenced. On November 3rd a Red Bluff Police Officer saw 43-year-old Alfonso Rene Ocampo riding a motorcycle at around 80 miles an hour. He tried to pull him over but Ocampo sped up and led a chase at up to 140 miles an hour, making several unsafe lane changes and crossing over solid lines. Eventually Ocampo stopped the motorcycle and surrendered. He’s been given a 6 month jail sentence and 2 years probation.
