The Mount Shasta Ski pPark is calling its season, about a month earlier than its traditional early to mid-April closing date. In a Facebook post General Manger Brendan Hickey said that with a warm forecast and no precipitation on the horizon they will not be reopening. Mount Ashland in Southern Oregon also paused its season “pending sufficient snowfall,” according to the resort’s website.
