Anderson residents can get acquainted with their new Police Chief at an informal event next Wednesday. “Coffee with the Chief” will be at the Starbucks in the Walmart Shopping Center at 9AM Wednesday. People are invited to ask questions and share concerns. Chief Oliver Collins just started with the APD last week. He has 24 years in law enforcement, the last 7 as a Captain with the Emeryville Police Department. Former CHP Veteran Greg Baarts, who had been serving as Interim Chief, has gone back to retirement.
