Local political resistance activists are planning more protests to coordinate with demonstrations happening nationwide. A “No Kings in America” demonstration is planned for Redding City Hall on Tuesday at 5PM. The last protest at city hall drew several hundred people.
On Friday some groups are calling for a complete economic blackout, discouraging Americans from buying anything at all, either in person or online. The idea is apparently to show how consumer-driven the economy is and that consumers can exercise that power if they choose.
