Redding’s Neighborhood Police unit made 7 arrests at an East Redding house on Friday. A search warrant was served at the Maraglia Street home of 45-year-old Matthew Stone, who has been convicted of multiple drug-related crimes and is awaiting sentencing. When officers arrived they found Michael Shankles outside, allegedly in possession of a handgun and a substantial quantity of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and cash. Many people were found inside and police say they seized a lot of Fentanyl and Meth, as well as stolen goods. They also said the conditions were filthy, with trash and animal waste everywhere. Breanna Nutter was arrested in the backyard on a warrant and during booking she was reportedly found to be hiding 7 Grams of Fentanyl. Cassondra Avila was also allegedly caught trying to hide bags of Fentanyl and Meth in her pants while being booked. Matthew Stone was also arrested. Six dogs were turned over to Haven Humane.
