A sophisticated butane honey oil operation has been found concealed in an auto body shop, according to Redding Police. The location was off Hartnell Avenue in an industrial area behind the Discovery Shop. Extracting concentrated cannabis with the butane honey oil process can be volatile and has resulted in a number of injuries and even a few deaths in and around Redding, including a fatal explosion at a home a few blocks away on green street in 2015. The Hartnell lab appeared to be a professional closed loop system. Over 16 Pounds of concentrated cannabis was found. No people were there when the Neighborhood Police Unit raided it on March 27th, but they linked it to 47-year-old Michael Easley of Redding, who was booked Wednesday on a Half Million Dollars bail.
