Redding’s Neighborhood Police Unit and Shasta County Probation did a retail theft detail Thursday. A total of 31 arrests were made- 13 for theft, 13 for drugs and 5 for warrants. Arrests included Joshua Powell at Burlington Coat Factory and Big Lots. Joseph Pimental reportedly tried to steal $750 worth of stuff from Kohl’s and escape out an emergency exit. Jeanna Glover was also arrested at Kohl’s, allegedly with a $650 haul. Police say Stephanie Erkelens ran out of Dick’s Sporting Goods with a 49ers jersey and tried to jump in a moving car to get away.
