Redding’s Neighborhood Police Unit has busted a couple in North Redding for alleged drug dealing. Officers say they had gotten a number of complaints about a house on Panorama Drive off Lake Boulevard. The home is close to a school and a bus stop and there are many children in the neighborhood, which the NPU. says were reasons they made the bust a priority. On Wednesday a search warrant was served and officers reported finding almost Three Ounces of Methamphetamine, as well as Psilocybin Mushrooms and evidence of sales. Scot and Juanita Straits were taken into custody. The NPU encourages people to turn in their neighbors when they suspect drug dealing.
