A Redding man was arrested with illegal guns after a search warrant was served by the Neighborhood Police Unit. The search was done Friday at the Magnolia Avenue home of 55-year-old Eric Devont Lewis. There were 13 people there when police arrived, and they reported finding a lot of drug paraphernalia. Officers also reported finding many boxes of ammunition, large capacity magazines, and three guns that were buried outside the house. Two of the guns, an AK-47 style rifle and an SKSs style rifle, are considered assault weapons.
