A Shasta County nurse became an instant Millionaire when she bought the right lottery scratcher. Stacy Hagberg was on her way to her graveyard shift when she stopped at the AM/PM on Churn Creek Road. She bought an energy drink and three “Power 10’s” scratchers, only because the store only had one of her favorite scratchers left. Later that night she was on a break at the nurse’s station where she works when she scratched off the winning ticket and found it was worth a Million Dollars. The owner of the store gets a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The odds of winning that prize are one in 2,043,212.
